Check out our first completed 'Work for all' film 'Une femme de tête.' Directed by Mohammed Belhaj, the film explores the barriers to employment faced by many new immigrants. This is the story of Bouchra, a highly educated woman from Morocco, and her experiences looking for meaningful employment in Quebec. Bouchra's story of strength and perseverance reflects that of many newcomers to Canada. It is through her eyes that we experience the challenges to breaking-into the job market. The film was shot in Montreal over 5 days.
Update: After the huge success of this dossier (launched in 2006) and the series of videos created on the subject, we are happy to announce that a new series of films and a space for dialogue on the topic is currently in action!
