This film was created by English & Social Studies students at Lucerne Secondary School New Denver, as part of their curriculum in learning about the history of the Japanese Canadian Internment during WWII.

The following is their Artist Statement:

We wanted to examine how the history of the Japanese Canadian internment has shaped our community. We saw that the values of the Kyowakai Society –“ peacefully working together” characterized not only the Japanese Canadians who came here in unfortunate circumstances, but our entire community who have chosen in good times and bad, to peacefully work together. We see the values of the Nikkei are still present today in New Denver.

I also experienced the same problem. The problem was mainly on the site configuration. I had the wrong configuration on the Mollum. But its working well now!
