Sudan is holding elections. With Omar Al Bashir, an indicted war criminal assured of victory, how free, fair and representative can they be? The South Sudanese appears to be focusing on the referendum scheduled for January 2011, and the ceasefire between Mr Bashir and Jem, the rebel group in Darfur, cannot influence the outcome significantly. Mr Bashir is the favorite to win - leaving most Sudanese without true representation again.
