Child Trafficking and Activism
by Jerry McMullin -- Child Trafficking Resources

One of the key aspects of stopping the crime of child trafficking is motivating people to act. There are several reasons why many of us do so little. We don't know enough. We think of trafficking as something that is happening only in third world countries. We are overwhelmed with the problems of our own lives and circumstances. We don't want to leave our comfort zones. We think others -- governments and the police -- are taking care of the problem with our tax dollars. We wait for the media to tell us what problems we should be focusing on. The reasons are many.
Now, however, the geat equalizer -- the internet -- makes it possible for the average person to make a significant difference on the planet. Videos like Eric Proffitts show what people who care can do to make a difference. Thanks for embedding it in this blog.
