Rebel With a Cause : Craig ChiversSubscribe

Why does Canada have one of the worst rates of poverty in the developed world? It's a question that fires the creative energy of Craig Chivers. As a filmmaker and a member of the activist photographers' collective PhotoSensitive, Chivers employs various skills to explore the lives of Canada's homeless population and working poor - the very people who get overlooked by mainstream media. His latest film No Place Called Home documents the efforts of the Rice family - a working couple with six kids - as they struggle against multiple obstacles to find adequate housing in small-town Ontario.
